Rain offers a huge number of opportunities for you as a street photographer. Just check how water-resistant your camera is beforehand.
You can buy a rain cover for most cameras that aren't water-resistant, whether it's a glorified plastic bag or a special kit.
Of course, there are fewer people out when it rains, but they may be more interesting. One of the most popular subjects among street photographers is the umbrella, whether in black and white or not.
But even when you stop for a coffee at your favourite café, focusing on the drops on the window can produce the most beautiful photos. Or think about the reflections created by the puddles on the ground.
