Song first and then the photo, or the other way round?

When you listen to song lyrics, you can put many experiences of nature or life into your photos. Song lyrics tell a story, and so do your photos.

Merging songs or poems and photos into one whole gives me a special feeling. Usually because I choose songs that have a meaning or a history. It varies quite a bit whether I take the photo first and then think of the matching song or poem, or the other way round.
It will undoubtedly be an unconscious process, but it works! This article features some of my photos with a reference to a song/poem.

Dear Ms. An Vanden Abeele, in one word MAGNIFICENT. During the past course season I also gave my students a similar final assignment and the result is a special exhibition. At the bottom of all the photos I also placed a very small QR code, which allows you to hear the number on the spot with your smartphone. Kind regards, Dies Groot Photography Courses, Woerden, the Netherlands.
