Godox, also known for its affordable flash equipment, has released the Godox TL60, a tube light. These are 75-centimetre tubes that can glow in any colour you choose. They may be particularly interesting for photographers who do light painting.
You can use the LED strips in virtually any colour and control them wirelessly, so they can be set remotely. They have a built-in battery that should last around two hours at full power, but you can also connect the tubes to a power supply.
Of course, you can use them to add unusual colours to your image wherever you want, but I think they will mainly appeal to light painters or videographers.
At a price of around 240 dollars, they are not particularly cheap, but there are certainly more expensive alternatives.
