Photopills om fotolocaties op te slaan

You probably know Photopills. It is a brilliant, comprehensive app for planning a landscape photo in extreme detail. But did you know you can also find photo locations with this app? That is often overlooked.
Do you take landscape photos? Or photos of the Milky Way? Then you know that Photopills is an app that lets you easily find the best photo location in the landscape. Most people use only a fraction of what the app can do.
To help you find your way around Photopills, you will soon be able to take a course at Photofacts Academy. But I would already like to tell you that Photopills can also be used to save your own list of photo locations. Or you can find interesting locations in the app.
Have you found an interesting place? Then you can save it as a Point Of Interest. A POI. When you have discovered such a point, place your pin there, select Save As... and choose Point of Interest. Give it a name and an icon, and it will appear in your list.

You can also take a smartphone photo and attach it to this point if you want. Add some notes, and you can create a list of places where you can take beautiful photos. You can find this list under the My Stuff and Points of Interest pages.
Besides your own list, the Points of Interest page also contains the Map option. Tap it and you will get a list of locations supplied with the app by default. The list covers the whole world, making it a great starting point for finding new places.
Zoom in on the country where you are, choose the most interesting icon, or the place you are near. You will get the coordinates and the name. Click on the name and you will also get information about this object.

there is so much in the app that it is always better to be able to read a clear and easy-to-understand explanation -
