Setting up and adjusting your flash units can take a few minutes. It would be a shame not to get the most out of them. There is an easy way to add extra variety.
Of course, you can ask your model to strike different poses. That already gives you some variety.
You can get much more variety by moving around your model yourself. Leave your flash units where they are and simply walk around your model, taking photos from different angles.
You will quickly get different photos, because the light falls on your subject in a different way in each photo. Not every angle will work, but it helps you see more creative possibilities.
