Tonight was the third episode of The Perfect Picture on RTL4. This week, the celebrities had to capture life at a distance of one and a half metres, and it was time for the classic nude shoot.
Life at one and a half metres
The candidates met in The Hague for a reportage shoot. For the first assignment, they had to capture life at a distance of one and a half metres in an iconic photo.
Photographer Jiri Büller stopped by to give them some tips. He preferred a candid photo, but staging was allowed for the assignment.
The celebrities went out with the Canon EOS M50. This compact system camera has the advantage of being a nice, inconspicuous little camera for this type of assignment. It is less intimidating than a big DSLR when photographing strangers.
They could use either the Canon EOS EF-M 15-45mm or the EF-M 55-200mm lenses.

Stefano won this reportage assignment. The jury thought his photo of a floating face mask on the Malieveld was the most striking photo.
I think Stefano is a really fun candidate for this programme. He throws himself into the assignments. It was great to see him darting across the Malieveld for this photo, throwing a face mask.
I didn't think this was immediately the best photo myself, though. I preferred Soy's photo, and Raymond's .

In the video below, Jiri gives you some more tips for this assignment.
Wet nude shoot
The nude shoot is a regular feature of The Perfect Picture. This time, the celebrities were at the Melkfabriek in Arnhem, a beautiful urbex setting.
The idea this time was that the models had to be wet. So they could be under the shower, in the bath, or simply have a bucket of water thrown over them. The photos also had to be erotic.
The candidates had to choose their model based on the underwear. As always, there were a few easier and more difficult subjects among them.
Bert, who works for the Evangelical Broadcasting Organisation, found this assignment a bit more difficult. Which was, of course, nicely emphasised by presenter Tijl.
Patricia Steur was the guest jury member for the shoot and helped the celebrities with tips for their shoots.
For the nude shoot, the celebrities used the Canon EOS RP fitted with a Canon RF 24-105mm lens. Fine equipment for this kind of shoot.

Janny won this shoot. The jury was clearly very impressed by this photo. I think it turned out quite well myself, but I perhaps preferred Miljuschka's photos and Soy's.

Exit for..
In the end, Miljuschka had to leave the programme this week. Her photo of the woman in front of the tram was too blurry, and she had edited the one of the nude model too heavily.
A shame, because I think she could have scored well with a sharp photo and a less heavily edited nude photo.
Next week
Next week, the candidates will do an action shoot with desserts and get to work on architectural photography with a model.
What do you think of the photos taken this week?
And did you agree with the jury?

Soy's photo of Marjo was also beautiful, I think that one was more the winning photo. It was a shame that Stefano had cropped his photo incorrectly. He could have scored higher with Renate.
