You don't have to travel abroad for beautiful nature photos. There are lovely spots nearby too, including stunning hilly areas. Alongside its well-known hills, the Netherlands also has hidden gems that are ideal for nature photography.
The Drentse Hondsrug is an extensive ridge that stretches from southern Drenthe to the north of Overijssel, with forests, heathland and shifting sands. It is also home to photogenic megalithic tombs.
