A handy way to find your camera bag after theft, or if you have left it somewhere, is to add an Apple AirTag. I have put one in my camera bag too. With this new lens cap, you can attach it directly to your camera.

Alphagvrd is certainly not the first manufacturer of such caps for your camera. Previously, there was also the CosmoCap, Polar Pro Defender and the Nine Volt AirCap.
What is nice about this new body cap for Sony cameras is that you can have a custom print added to it. The cap also contains an NFC chip where you can store your contact information. This can then be read by almost any smartphone.
If you put an AirTag in the cap, the NFC chip can no longer be accessed. But you can find your camera more easily.
The Alphagvrd Creative Weapon Sensor Cap for Sony E-mount costs 17.95 euros. You pay extra for your own text or logo. Unfortunately, there is also around 14 euros in shipping costs.
