Nikon announces the development of two new NIKKOR Z lenses: the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S, a fast-aperture medium telephoto prime lens, and the NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8, a slim wide-angle prime lens.
Both lenses are compatible with the full-frame Z-mount system.
The fast-aperture 85mm f/1.2 S is said by Nikon to produce beautiful bokeh and is very suitable for portrait, wedding and fashion photography.
The NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8, the second lens under development, has a slim and lightweight body. It is also known as a pancake lens.
Nikon sees this as an ideal lens for amateur photographers who often carry their camera with them. This means you won't miss a single opportunity to capture a great image.
Unfortunately, apart from this announcement, nothing is yet known about the prices of the lenses or when they will actually become available.
