A creative studio setup for just one dollar

Perfect equipment does not guarantee a good photo. Experienced professionals have been saying this for years. While they work with excellent studio lights and diffusers themselves, this does not come across as very convincing to many photographers. This video may change your mind.
Arber Elezi shows in the video below on Fstoppers how you can light a model with a relatively simple setup using six small lights.
Arber Elezi does not resort to expensive flash units and reflectors. He only uses around six small LED lights, a few coloured gels and a piece of tissue paper.
He uses the lights as you would use normal studio lights: a key light, a fill light with the tissue paper as a diffuser, two side lights covered with gels (sweet wrappers?), a hair light and a background light.
The only difference is that he has to place the lights closer to the model than he normally would because of the lack of light output.
To compensate even more for the limited power of the LEDs, Arber Elezi shoots his 85 mm at an aperture of f/1.2 with an ISO of 400 to make sure he can use a shutter speed of 1/100 second to freeze his subject for a well-exposed and sharp image.
The colour transition is not the smoothest and the light is a little hard, but for what it is, the results are still quite good. This video simply shows that you can stimulate your creativity enormously by limiting yourself a little.
