Adobe has given us a sneak peek at new selection tools coming to a future version of Lightroom. It is a substantial and interesting update that will mean you need Photoshop even less often.

Selections will also become much easier to make. A really nice update!

It has not been announced when the update will become available, but it is quite possible that this will happen during Adobe MAX. This event is being held from 26 to 28 October this year.

One of our Lightroom experts at Photofacts Academy has already been able to play around with the new updates. So you can expect a complete course about the new features as soon as the update launches.

Almost every autumn, Adobe releases a new version of Photoshop and Lightroom. They have to, because of the competition. The fact that they are putting more and more AI into them is also a must, because various editing software is already much further along with it. Just look at Skylum's software. In any case, it is an improvement for those who use Lightroom. Personally, I still prefer using Photoshop, possibly with a few plug-ins

As a Lightroom user, I'm looking forward to it. I do have the subscription, but I still haven't gotten around to delving into Photoshop.
