The second assignment was to take a confrontational photo with a child as the model. Each contestant was given a theme to work on with their young model. The location was a great old abandoned monastery.

The guest jury member for this assignment was fine-art photographer Monique Roodenburg.

The contestants used the Canon EOS R6 with either an RF 24-70 f/2.8 or the Canon RF 85mm f/2.0 Macro for this shoot.

Georgina won again. Quite rightly in my view, as I also thought her photo was very successful, despite the cameraman's shoe.

Georgina forgot during the shoot that the Canon R6 has a handy tilting screen. That is very practical for a position like the one she took, photographing from above.

Patrick was actually supposed to leave the show this week. However, it was decided, not entirely unexpectedly, to let everyone continue. This is new this year, but the jury was allowed to make this choice once.
