Sony has introduced three new G lenses for the E-mount. All three lenses have a fixed focal length and are the same size. This makes them ideal for swapping between cameras, while their compact size also makes them easy to carry.

The three new lenses are the FE 50mm f/2,5G, the FE 40mm f/2,5G and the FE 24mm f/2,8G. They are the same size and have the same weight. The focus is internal and exactly the same. This makes these lenses very easy to swap and perfect for use on, for example, a gimbal.
These lenses naturally deliver excellent image quality thanks to the latest optics with aspherical elements and ED glass elements for extra-low dispersion. This guarantees sharpness right into the corners, even with the widest aperture.
The lenses feature a focus hold button, focus switch, an aperture ring and an aperture click switch. The two linear motors in each lens ensure fast and accurate focusing.
