Canon's full-frame mirrorless cameras are very popular. And with good reason, as Canon makes excellent cameras with its R bodies. According to the rumours, three more Canon EOS R cameras will be released this year. They are all said to have an APS-C-sized sensor.

We currently also see this smaller sensor size in the more affordable cameras from the brand, and from other brands too. Such as the Canon EOS 90D and the 850D.
The three new cameras are said to be called Canon EOS R7, R8 and R9, and will of course feature Canon's RF mount.
The R8 would be aimed at vloggers and may replace the EOS M line. The R9 would be the absolute entry-level model, the cheapest way into the Canon R system.

Donald Willemsen wrote on Thursday 17 June 2021 at 14:09 | replyTo be honest, I’m hoping for an affordable mirrorless Canon R that is comparable to the EOS 80D and 90D in terms of options. Then you’d have a body for around 1000 euros. If possible, Canon could also make an ISO value of 50 manually adjustable.
