Photoshop beta update April 2024

Photoshop has received a new update. However, most of the new features are reserved for the beta version and focus on generating AI images.

Photoshop Beta has gained the Firefly Image 3 model functionality. You no longer need to visit the Firefly website. You can now create AI images directly from Photoshop beta.

Julieanne Kost has made a clear video covering all the Firefly Image 3 model features that Photoshop Beta has gained.

Besides the Firefly implementation, there are smaller updates for selecting fonts and for the adjustment brush. The font updates are the only update for the normal Photoshop version, as far as I know.

For clarity, all updates with the Firefly Image 3 model are exclusively for Photoshop Beta. If you have not installed it, you can do so via the Creative Cloud app. Look for the Beta tab. You can use both the normal and Beta versions side by side.

    Bedankt Nando.
