Street photography tip: Use the smallest possible camera

A book about street photography that does not mention specific cameras is not complete. In that context, I would like to highlight two specific brands, and the first is the Ricoh GR range.

Ricoh GR Nijmegen

Nijmegen - f/5.6, 1/250s, 200 ISO @ 40mm

The Ricoh stands out because of its very small design. Everyone will think you are a tourist with an amateur camera, while this powerhouse really takes professional photos.

The range mainly consists of 28mm cameras, with the GRIIIx, for example, featuring a 40mm lens. These are ideal focal lengths for street photographers.

Ricoh GR IIIx

This camera is so closely associated with street photography that an urban range has even been released. It only looks slightly different, incidentally. Otherwise, it is virtually the same.

This camera has a large following, just take a look on YouTube or Instagram. There are also specific groups for this camera on Facebook.
