It has finally happened. Canon has announced the long-awaited RF 35mm f/1.4L VCM. It is the first in a series of lenses with a Voice Coil Motor for autofocus. A separate aperture ring makes the lens very suitable for both video and photography.
The RF 35mm f/1.4VCM is the first hybrid lens with an aperture ring. This makes it easy to change the aperture, both for photography and video. The 11 aperture blades promise beautiful bokeh.
