For photographers, it is of course important that the colours on your monitor are accurate. A good monitor is essential for this. If you want the best of the best, Eizo is often a good choice. They have now announced three new monitors.
Eizo ColorEdge CG3100X
The Eizo CG3100X is perhaps the most interesting of the three. This 30.5-inch monitor has DCI 4K resolution and HDR support. The monitor can display uncompressed DCI 4K (4:4:4) material in 12-bit at up to 60 Hz.

The CG3100X covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour space and 97% of the Adobe RGB colour space. Colour calibration is of course built in, so the monitor can continue to ensure accurate colours at all times by itself.
This impressive monitor is unfortunately not cheap. The recommended retail price is 5,377 euros. The CG3100X should be in shops from November.
Eizo ColorEdge CG2400SV
Is 31 inches too big for you? Then this 24-inch model is a good alternative. With this monitor, Eizo is focusing more on videographers, with dedicated SDI input and output, but it is also a good monitor for photographers.

With a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1800:1, the CG2400SV meets the requirements of the DCI standard.
The Wide Gamut IPS panel covers 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space and supports the BT.2020 standard. With 10-bit display and a 16-bit LUT, the monitor delivers accurate colour reproduction and smooth transitions
The recommended retail price is 1,931 euros and the monitor will be available from November.
Eizo FlexScan EV2740S
The Eizo FlexScan EV2740S is a 27-inch monitor with an incredibly sharp 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). What stands out is its extremely low energy consumption, averaging just 12 watts.
With this monitor, Eizo is focusing more on office work, but it could also be a budget alternative for photographers. The EV2740S costs 813 euros. The monitor is already available directly.
