Eizo has announced a new monitor, the Eizo ColorEdge CG3100X. This 30.5-inch 4K 10-bit monitor is for anyone looking for pretty much the best you can get in a monitor.
The monitor can display 99% of the DCI-P3 standard and 97% of Adobe RGB. The monitor calibrates itself using a built-in sensor, of course. This way, you can be sure you always have the correct colours.
With the Eizo CG3100X, you can also display HDR images according to the HDR400 standard. The screen brightness reaches a maximum of 500 cd/m2. It can display a contrast ratio of 1800:1.
Price and availability
The price is not known yet, but it will not be cheap. I expect a price of around 6,000 euros. The monitor should become available soon.
