EIZO introduces two new 27-inch ColorEdge monitors

EIZO is known for its professional monitors. The range is now being expanded with two new high-end monitors in the CG series, with a 27-inch screen diagonal. These monitors are the first to feature an integrated LAN connection via USB-C.
The two new models have been given the codes CG2700S and CS2700X. The housing has been given a new design and they are equipped with an integrated calibration sensor, allowing fully automatic calibration.
The CG2700S has a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The image is displayed at 109 ppi. The CG2700X has a 4K UHD screen with 3840 x 2160px, giving it a resolution of 164 ppi. Both monitors support HLG and PQ curves, making it possible to view HDR video.
The IPS panels in these monitors have a 10-bit colour depth and a 16-bit LUT. They can display 99% of the Adobe RGB colour space, with a brightness of 500 cd/m2 (CG2700X) and 400 cd/m2 (CG2700S). True Black technology provides a contrast ratio of 1450:1 for the CG2700X and 1600:1 for the CG2700S.
The EIZO CG2700S is expected to become available in May 2022. You will have to wait two months longer for the EIZO CG2700X. This is expected to arrive in July 2022. Prices are not yet known.

EIZO monitors are indeed top monitors. I just think it's a shame that these monitors are virtually unattainable for the serious hobby photographer with a limited budget.
