Fujifilm has presented a new mirrorless camera, the X-T100. This new APS-C model has a 24.2-megapixel sensor. It has a sensitivity of 200 to 12,800 ISO, digitally expandable to 51,200 ISO.

The new camera features advanced automatic scene recognition, a phase-detection autofocus system, a three-way tilting touchscreen, an electronic viewfinder and the latest Bluetooth technology.

These specifications are exactly the same as those of the previously released X-A5. The biggest difference is that the X-T100 has an electronic viewfinder.

The X-T100 is available in three colours: black, dark silver and champagne gold. Also available in a kit with the XC 15-45 mm zoom lens, it will be available at the end of June 2018 for 599 euros, for the body only.

According to the manufacturer, the battery allows you to take around 430 photos, and it weighs just 448 grams. The camera has no dedicated dials for setting the ISO value or exposure compensation, but does have a PASM dial.

The touchscreen is 3 inches in size and can be tilted horizontally to the side and vertically. It has more than one million dots. This makes the camera interesting for vloggers, among others. There is also room for a built-in flash.

The Fujifilm mirrorless camera can record video in 4K resolution, with a maximum frame rate of 15 frames per second. In Full HD resolution, you can record videos at up to 60 fps.

The X-T100 has a sensor with a regular Bayer design, which is also used by the other camera manufacturers.

You can also buy the camera with an XC15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens. This zoom lens for the X-mount weighs 136 grams and is powered electronically.

In its wide-angle position, it has a field of view comparable to that of 23mm lenses on full-frame cameras. With this lens, it costs 699 euros, 100 euros more than the body alone.

Just played around with the X-T100. Nice compact little camera that still has good capabilities. It's nice that you can simply put the professional X lenses on it.

Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow there will also be a unit at the Fotofair at Safaripark de Beekse Bergen. If you'd like to try it too..

I first read ‘Available in a kit with the XC 15-45 mm zoom lens, it will be available at the end of June 2018 for 599 euros.’

Then it says ‘You can also purchase the camera with an XC15-45mm... ...In combination with this lens it costs 699 euros, 100 euros more than the body alone.’

Are these two different XC lenses, or is it just worded awkwardly?

I assume that shutter speed and aperture settings are adjusted via a dial on the front or back of the camera? Given that there is a PASM button instead of control dials.

There will surely be an extensive review later, but this is really very brief.

@Ytos: it was indeed worded awkwardly, I’ve adjusted it. As body only, it’s available for 599 euros.

I haven’t had the camera in my hands myself, Elja has. It could be that we’re allowed to test the device extensively.

Great. Thanks for the quick response.

I might also be interested in testing. I'm a big Fuji fan and have already had the chance to review the GFX (for a competitor).

@Ytos: just discuss it with Elja, he's in charge!
