Last Thursday, a partial solar eclipse could be seen, including in the Netherlands. Here in the Netherlands, it was only a small bite out of the sun. Perhaps you managed to photograph it too? Photographer Göran Strand made a time-lapse from Sweden.
The video is made up of no fewer than 50,000 different images, taken over two and a half hours. In total, this produced 250 gigabytes of data.
Göran took 200 photos every 30 seconds. He combined the best 50 of these into a single image. He used the 250 photos that remained to make the time-lapse.
