Photographing the solar eclipse with three cameras produces a lot of images. I've now processed the images into a timelapse video. This way, you can experience it a little too.

The solar eclipse was a wonderful experience. I've now experienced for myself that it can't be compared with a partial eclipse. Even 99 per cent is nothing like the actual 100 per cent eclipse.

It was also harder work than I had expected. Removing the filters, setting the exposure, then putting the filters back on and setting the exposure again. All that for three cameras, and in just one minute.

The video above shows the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026. It was a lot of work, and not all the images were perfect. But that doesn't matter. It was a fantastic experience.
