Nikon has announced the second version of the popular Z50 APS-C camera. The Z50II promises to be a perfect all-round camera with the powerful technology found in higher-end cameras.
The Z50II has the EXPEED 7 image processor, which is also used in the Z9 camera. This allows the camera to recognise up to nine different types of subject, so it can focus and track them perfectly.
Nikon says that the camera is perfectly suited to every photographer, so you can say goodbye to your smartphone. The camera can be used for photos, video and vlogs. You can stream images directly to your laptop or smartphone.
Key features include a Picture Control button, good ISO performance, a clear, high-resolution EVF and intelligent autofocus and tracking. There is also a Product Preview Mode for a smooth transition between foreground and background.
The camera weighs just 495 grams and has a good, comfortable grip. The camera will be available from the end of November 2024 at a recommended retail price of 999 euros.
