Nikon has announced the third generation of the Z6 mirrorless camera. This camera has many improvements and changes compared to its predecessor.
The Nikon Z6 III has a fast 24-megapixel sensor that is partially stacked. This enables new possibilities for both autofocus and video, including 6K 60p N-Raw video and 6K 30p ProRes Raw.

The camera can take 14 frames per second with the mechanical shutter, and up to 20 frames per second with the electronic shutter. The buffer and writing speed allow you to take up to 1000 images in a row.
The electronic viewfinder has no fewer than 5.76 million pixels, and the LCD screen measures 3.2 inches and is fully articulating.
The autofocus has been drastically improved compared to its predecessor. There is image recognition and the 3D tracking Nikon is known for. The speed is comparable to the Z8 and Z9 camera models.
If you have an f/1.2 lens, the Z6 III can focus in as little as -10 EV of light. With these specifications, the Nikon Z6 III is a camera that will be as good as or better than the Canon EOS R6 II and the Sony A7 IV.
The Nikon Z6 III will be available at the end of June for 2,999 euros.
